We love this old unmarked antique china, though we haven't been able to find out very much at all about it. The pattern is a natural history illustration, horsechestnut flowers and fruit with moths or butterflies in shades of brown and pink.
It's a tea set, service for eight with serving pieces including teapot (9 3/4" tall), cream pitcher and covered sugar, and 10" cake plate.
There are eight each of cups and saucers, 4 3/4" fruit bowls, 7 1/4" plates. It makes a nice supper set, too.
This has been used, and various pieces show damage (chips, cracks, stains). The design looks good on all, but none of this looks new, or perfect.
