Beautiful Victorian brass oil lamp marked The Rochester, with an 1886 patent date. This was converted to electricity, works fine, measures 11 1/2" to the top of the light bulb socket.
This has no chimney or glass shade - it's made to hold a shade 9" in diameter or a little smaller. It's in good condition, though we're not sure it could ever be converted back to a kerosene light.
