antique early electric pendant chain light fixture w/ white opalescent milk glass shade

Early 1900s vintage electric light, brass caps with iron chain, all painted with a very old ecru colored paint. Original or near original to the fixture.

This has a nice Brascolite type transluscent milk glass shade period to the wiring, and the old turn key on / off switch on the socket. Needs re-wiring as the wires are brittle and broken. The socket and hardware look good.

It measures about 7 1/2" across the open end of the shade, shade is about 4 1/2" tall. It's about 54" long overall, top to bottom, though it would be simple to shorten the chain if you'd like.

It's a lovely authentic old piece, needing just a little restoration to put it back into functional shape.
