Circa 1904 electric wall lamp with Hubbell socket marked with patent date. The shade is probably original or period to this fixture, we think.
Size is about 12" x 12" overall including the shade, quite large for a single bulb light fixture.
The wiring is vintage, made to wire directly into a wall. We haven't tested this, but would suggest replacing the original wiring for safety, as it's 100 years old.
The brass fixture is much tarnished, and has traces of old paint - we've left it just as we found it, and haven't cleaned or polished it. There's a few dents to the brassware as shown.
