large vintage pedestal bowl, mercury glass silvered centerpiece winter holiday decor

Beautiful large mercury glass pedestal bowl for a vase or centerpiece display. This would look great with greenery, or filled with vintage Christmas ornaments!

I'm not sure of the age - the silvering is completely encased in the hand blown glass in the traditional way. Glass is heavier than I'd expect in an antique piece, this is later 20th century or early 2000s, I think.

Silver color shows no peeling or serious wear - just a few marks and spots. Clean simple lines give this a style that works in any vintage or modern setting. Measures about 10" in diameter x 8 1/2" tall.
