antique vintage linen damask fringed towels with turkey red cherries border

Lot of two different linen damask towels with jacquard borders in flax and turkey red. We love the flowers and the cherries!

Not including the fringe, these measure 18 1/2" x 32" (the cherries towel) and 18 1/2" x 34" (the towel with the leaves). The cherry towel has a small embroidered H monogram in pink cotton thread.

Both of these towels show irregularities to the fabric (dark 'flax' lines in the heavy linen thread) and spots from storage and / or use. They're good early 1900s pieces. We haven't washed, soaked, or ironed these - just left them exactly as found.
