vintage hand stitched embroidered quilt blocks, candlewick embroidery whitework w/ lace

1970s vintage quilt blocks with hand stitched candlewick style embroidered on linen weave cotton fabric, white and ivory, with ecru colored lace outlining the blocks.

The blocks measure about 12" x 12" across the the outside edge of the lace border. Most of the blocks have a plain fabric spacer strip on one edge. There's twenty blocks in all with various traditional designs.

There's some pencil marks showing under the embroidery, also a little brown foxing to the fabric. These would probably clean up with washing, but I think you'll probably want to finish the quilt top into one piece before that.
