Nice old woven wool carriage blanket, with a grey patterned border. (We've been told this this is roughly Civil War era, commonly called a Lincoln shawl.) This measures about 66" x 62" not counting the fringe, and is not in totally perfect condition - the flaws are noted below, and sound worse than they look!

There are two spots of worn fringe, each about 2 1/2" long.

There's a string of about four moth holes about 6" in from the edge, with the largest about the size of a pencil eraser. (Some of these are nap damage, not holes all the way though the cloth.)

There are two spots of soil (not stained, we think) each about the size of a dime.

It looks good overall, soft and thick, no fading, not brittle.
