Early 1900s vintage damask tablecloth, a small square size for a card table – this is a lovely thing probably made for a bride with a table for two. It's about 44" x 45".
The fabric is a silky, heavy rayon or rayon blend with cotton or linen. Soft, drapes well. The border is drawn thread 'lace', the monogram stitched by hand.
This shows no fraying or wear to the fabric, but this does have spots from use and / or storage (the worst of which I've shown in the photos). I've left it just as I found it, and have not washed it.
