1880s vintage antique drapery trim, rayon embroidery & long fringe

Beautiful antique trimming for large lampshades, heavy curtains or plush upholstery, very Victorian, mauve-rose with gold and tile blue. It's a wide cotton tape with silky rayon embroidery and twisted rope fringe, measures 10" deep. We have only one piece, 3 1/2 yards in length overall, made up of three pieces carefully joined (each about 1 yard long).

This doesn't look as though this has been used, there's no signs of wear, or holes from stitching or tacks. There is a rod pocket or casing for a gathering cord sewn on the reverse at the top edge of the trim, so we're inclined to believe this was originally intended for a curtain valance or possibly tie-backs for drapery panels.
