vintage cotton decorator fabric, chinoiserie print on black, chinese peony tree of life

Vintage 36" wide cotton fabric, probably 1930s or 40s. It's a fine linen weave cotton, medium weight material. This is a decorator sample length, 1 1/2 yards long. We love the print, a branching floral in multi-colors on black.
