Lot of nine genuine old cotton sack kitchen towels, made from farm feed bags, flour, sugar or salt sacks. They all have come out of a farmhouse kitchen, from a farm estate here in Wisconsin.
These all have red and blue woven stripes, but very little if any original printing from the sacks, as they've been much used and washed many times. Sizes and fabric are not all identical, though all are cotton, and all measure about 17" x 28".
All are spotted (some very badly spotted) and some are mended and / or patched as well. We haven't attempted to clean these up with soaking or any stain treatments at all, and they're very primitive as they are.
