Lot of vintage printed cotton salt sacks from a farm estate here in Wisconsin. These have lots of spots and faded old ad graphics, lovely primitive fabric!
This lot is ten sacks (nine sacks and one 'front' of a sack). All were 100 lb. size sacks, about 16" wide fabric, 32" long.
There are five whole sacks still sewn up as bags with the original chain stitching. There are four sacks opened flat, and hemmed as towels (don't think they were ever used as towels, though). And then there's the single half, just the front of one sack.
Some have rips or holes, and all have spots and wear. We haven't washed or soaked them at all.
