40s 50s vintage rug canvas w/ silly dog printed design for punch needle hooking

Mid-century vintage cotton canvas rug backing, printed with a big lovable dog! This is nice and clear, easy to see in real life, I'm just having an impossible time getting good photos of this piece. A shame 'cause this dog is so cute.

It's a tightly woven cotton made for punch needle rug hooking, not a latch hook or hooked 'rag' wool strips. There's some foxing and spotting to the canvas which wouldn't show on the finished rug. Completed size would be approximately 24" x 34".
