Vintage wire egg basket (nice for orchard or garden produce, too!). The basket measures about 10" deep and 14" in diameter at the rim.

This is an old farm primitive piece, with roughness, wear, and soil to the finish. It's as found from a farm here in Wisconsin, we haven't touched it.
