Main Street vintage mid-century modern pottery for 4, mod colors
more photos of this product below1950's vintage Salem pottery dishes, Main Street pattern, made for the Harmony House line in the modern style, as a response to the huge popularity of Russel Wright's American Modern dinnerware, and similar 'mod' styles from other forward-thinking designers. (Salem was no slouch in the modern design movement themselves, with several famed designers including Viktor Scherckengost in-house during the same period!)
There is a set for four, in mixed colors - peach, dark green, chartreuse, and brown. There are four each of dinner and bread & butter plates, four bowls, four cup and saucer sets, and a three tiered serving plate. One of the dinner plates has a chip to the rim, and one of the smaller plates has a tiny fleabite, but everything else looks good, a nice usable set.
