1950's vintage Salem pottery dishes, Main Street pattern, made for the Harmony House line in the modern style, as a response to the huge popularity of Russel Wright's American Modern dinnerware, and similar 'mod' styles from other forward-thinking designers. (Salem was no slouch in the modern design movement themselves, with several famed designers including Viktor Scherckengost in-house during the same period!)

There is a set for four, in mixed colors - peach, dark green, chartreuse, and brown. There are four each of dinner and bread & butter plates, four bowls, four cup and saucer sets, and a three tiered serving plate. One of the dinner plates has a chip to the rim, and one of the smaller plates has a tiny fleabite, but everything else looks good, a nice usable set.
