Set of two dinner plates (10 7/8" in diameter) in excellent condition without damage or wear. These are 1940s vintage Vernon Kilns California pottery dinnerware in the 1860 pattern.

Each shape in this pattern shows a different scene of old California history and settlement. All are Ed Botsford art designs, print transferware in brown with multi colors.

It's one of those patterns you find more and more little details the more you look. These are really wonderful prints, great pieces to collect and display especially if you're interested in Americana, California and the west.
