Vintage World War Two era, United States Navy sailor's blue wool jumper uniform with patches. We were told that this is a sailor's dress blues uniform. We're not sure of the exact rank or branch of the shoulder patch or the meaning of the yellow patch on the front of the uniform jumper. Both patches have been hand sewn on. The jumper has a label under the neck flap from the "Naval Clothing Depot".
The jumper of this sailor uniform measures about 20" long on the sleeve (armpit to cuff), 40" around the chest (under the arms), 16" across the shoulders on the back and 25" long from the base of the collar to the bottom in the back.
The uniform pants measure about 31" around the waist (with the lacing set as it is, maybe this could be adjusted?) and have a 29" inseam.
This uniform is in nice vintage condition.
