Royal Ulster Constabulary vintage MP uniform jacket w/ badges
more photos of this product belowVintage wool uniform jacket from the Royal Ulster Constabulary, with emblem buttons and badges. This is marked with a paper tag with date of issue of 1999, which would be shortly before the unit was discontinued in 2001. This uniform is vintage, and no longer in use. (More information on the R.U.C. is easy to find on wikipedia and from other sources on the internet.)
Garment measurements are 44" chest, 20" across the back of the shoulders, sleeve length 17" under the arm. Jacket length is 31 1/2" down the center back. It's in very nice shape, buttons complete, the badges look good.
This is from the estate of a militaria dealer, who collected Scots uniforms and other Scottish memorabilia for himself - we have several other items from this same collection. (This collector had traced his clan to Edinburgh and Ulster, and we believe that most of the pieces in his own collection were associated with that, as he was a huge geneology buff!)
