original early 1950s Korean War vintage silk flag of North Korea DPRK

Early 1950s silk flag from the Kim Il-Sung's (the father of Kim Jong-Il) Democratic People's Republic of Korea (North Korea). This flag is from the estate of an Korean War veteran and is an original period piece and not a newer reproduction. We were told that he brought it home from the war with him.

This flag measures about 20" x 39" with ties for fastening it to the flagpole, lanyard etc. This is flag is in excellent condition for a piece of this age and type.
