Vintage 1950s or 1960s pistol grip for a professional photography camera. This is marked "Patent A" and "Made in Demark". This camera grip has a textured black finish and brushed aluminum lines. We're not sure who made this grip but were told that it might be Manfrotto or Hasselblad. It is from the estate of a photographer who had a lot of Manfrotto and Balcar photo equipment including tripods and flash heads in his collection.
This camera pistol grip measures 6 1/2" high from the butt of the grip to the top of the chrome shutter trigger and 4 1/2" from the tip of the trigger to the back edge. It has a felt lined pocket for the camera (measures about 1 1/2" deep and 5/8" deep and 5/8" high) as well as a mount for a tripod and wrist strip.
