vintage Vis-O-Glow lightning arrester early electric radio & telephone protector

Antique vintage Vis-o-glow lightning arrester from LS Brach Mfg. This arrester uses "rare gas tube with metal air gap". It measures about 4 3/8" x 1 1/4" across the base.

We didn't test this, but it looks good and the clear plastic is somewhat discolored and yellowed with age.
