Mid-century vintage pottery planter - I don't think this is McCoy pottery, but am not sure who made this. The bottom is unglazed and unmarked.
Also - I'm not sure what this animal is meant to be. At first, I thought otter, but then I thought maybe a sloth, though I don't believe sloths were a thing till the last decade or so. Someone else told me this was probably a polar bear - works well in this color, but looks very thin in the neck for a bear?
Measures about 3 3/4" tall x about 3" across the rim of the pot. There's a little brown foxing spots near the top, and an old chip at the bottom of the pot.
The plain creamy white color and mod design look perfectly fresh these days, modern farmhouse or metro hipster style!
