vintage hand painted trinket boxes made in India, colorful flowers & butterflies

Lot of two 3" diameter round boxes handmade in India - I am not sure if these are made of wood, or papier mache? They're wonderfully painted with butterflies and roses, and are great to hold all sorts of small things, in any room of your home.
