shabby chippy vintage plaster flower basket lamps, matte chalkboard black paint

Pair of tall chalkware table lamps, 18 1/2" to the top of the light bulb sockets and 29" to the top of the finials.

These have old paint (1940s or 50s vintage) in matte black color which looks like chalkboard paint - we thought that was cute!

There's chipping and wear to the black, showing the original jadite green paint from the 1930s or early 40s beneath the black, and a few chips to scratches showing down to the plaster.

All in all, very pretty in a shabby chippy cottage style - and both lamps work fine although one of them has had a plug replaced at some point.
