vintage Capodimonte - Italy metal filigree flower, display stand for china or decorated egg

Capodimonte label silver tone metal flower, about 4 1/4" overall. We think this is probably a holder or display stand for a Capodimonte china piece of some sort, although it's very pretty just as it is.
