vintage picnic basket or market basket, old Winnebago Indian basket from Wisconsin

Nice old Winnebago basket out of a estate here in Wisconsin. This one shows some wear and a few broken points, though it's sturdy yet. We seldom find the market basket sized baskets looking this nice!

It has a sturdy wood handle, and measures about 14 1/2" from the bottom of the basket to the top of the handle. The basket itself measures about 16 1/2" x 11 1/2" x 9 1/2" deep.
