1950s vintage hand painted Japan china planter, yellow canary bird on log, Ucagco ceramics foil label

Mid century vintage Ucagco Ceramics - Japan planter or low vase with a yellow bird on a log, so pretty. I've seen several different forms of the canary design (tall and short vases etc), but I've never seen this long log shape before.

This has been used, and does have a few soil marks to the interior of the pot. No chips or cracks or repairs to the ceramic. This still has the original foil label on the bottom, and an old store price marked in crayon.
