1940s, WWII vintage, 16 quart aluminum National pressure cooker from old farm kitchen
more photos of this product belowVintage early to mid 40s 16 quart (4 gallon) National aluminum pressure cooker with assorted accessories. This is marked "National Pressure Cooker Co - Eau Claire, Wis" (later becoming Presto)and is also marked as a "No. 7". This cooker measures about 12-1/2" across the pot and 7-3/4" deep.
This is out of an old farm estate and is in nice condition (there is some flaking & peeling to the varnish on the wood handles).
This still has some of the original papers that came with the pot. There is even a printed notice & coupon ( pre-dated for March 1, 1947) about the material shortage from the war.
