1930s 40s vintage applique flowers cotton quilt, pink dogwood pattern

1930s or 40s vintage quilt, all cotton hand stitched applique, beautifully made. This is a little worn and faded - some worn faded fabrics used in the quilt, some worn from its life as a quilt!

Size is about 76" x 93" overall. The edges look good without fraying, and we saw no holes.

It has a few spots, and it's discolored in areas (yellow staining at the center, most noticeable on the back of the quilt). You'll want to give this a good soaking, which we'd expect would improve this piece greatly!

We haven't washed or soaked this - it's just as found out of a large collection of quilts from an Illinois farm estate.
