1800s antique teapot, copper bottom pewter pot w/ hand written note on the history of the piece

Very interesting very old copper bottomed pewter tea or coffee pot about 8 1/2" tall, marks so worn from time and use I was unable to track down the maker of this piece.

I do have (and am including with the pot) the note I found inside it, which says "Charlie - this teapot was my Grandmother's and now it is yours. Mother". I admit that tears came to my eyes when I saw this note, and I was so happy that generations have left it with this piece.

I'd expect the note was written 1912 or a little later, so even the note is well over a hundred years old. And the tea pot must have been close to antique at that time, as it belonged to Charlie's great-grandmother. What stories this little old teapot could tell!
