1800s antique white ironstone china, six tiny fruit plates w/ embossed border
more photos of this product belowSet of six tiny ironstone plates, just 4 3/4" in diameter across the rims. These are smaller than bread plates, larger than butter pats - maybe fruit plates?
These are not marked or stamped that we could see, but we'd guess their age at 1860s or 1870s from the style of the design and their general appearance. Not sure of the maker, though - sorry!
One plate has a makers flaw 'split', holding well, never spread into a crack. Aside from that, these look remarkably good. No chips, just a little crazing and slight browning discoloration.
