1800s vintage beater jar egg whip whisk drink mixer Silver's - Brooklyn

This antique egg beater is a beautiful old thing, but has been used to death, and nearly everything on it is broken except for the beater gears which are still as smooth as butter after almost 150 years. Wish they still made things with this attention to design and quality!

The beautifully embossed one quart square jar is badly chipped in several places. The cast metal cover is broken at the rim, though handle and gears work well. Some of the wires are loose at the top of the whisk. Still an interesting piece for display, or good for a parts unit I think.
