antique 1908 Ball mason canning jars, glass lightning lids w/ wire bails

Two vintage Ball Ideal quart size fruit jars, clear glass with the glass covers (no seals) and wire bail closures. One of these is marked with a patent date of 1908.

These have been used, then stored away for many years, and both have some rust spotting to the wire bails. We wouldn't suggest these jars for home canning or preserving food without refrigeration, but they make wonderful kitchen and pantry storage canisters for dry foodstuffs!
