1914 antique sewing manual full of silk floss embroidery thread , making clothes WWI vintage home ec

Here's an interesting little find out of a small town estate in rural Illinois.

It's a University of Illinois booklet on sewing clothes, the 'Clothing Club Manual' dated 1914. And in between it's pages we found some lovely old skeins of silk floss from the same period!

The book is a little worn, though it looks complete. The silk thread looks excellent, it hasn't seen the light of day in 100 years.
