1920s 30s vintage fine pure linen sheets & pillowcases w/ crest monogram

Beautiful monogrammed pure linen sheets and pillowcases, 1920s or early 30s vintage. This set is two flat sheets (each 106" x 72") and two pillowcases (35" x 23") all with crest monogram in padded embroidery as shown.

This was a trousseau set from more elegant times - it's hard to find linens of this quality anymore, and even for its time this was an unusually fine set. It's not often I find linen bedding, much less embroidered linen bedding!

These pieces show little if any use or wear, though they do have a little spotting which we did not attempt to remove. Color is good overall with very little yellowing. Drawn thread hemstitching looks good without fraying. There's no thinning to the fabric.
