This old handbook has over 300 pages with sections on electric railways, motion picture filming and projecting equipment including electric arc lamps and lighting, gas engine ignition, early electric vehicles and more! It is full of tons of illustrations, schematics and drawings.
Looking through this book, we came across lots of very interesting subjects. There is a section on signals for railroads, the different kinds of ignition systems for gas engines ("Hot Tube", "High and Low Tension Ignition"), starting and drive systems for early electric cars (chain drives etc), all with lots of illustrations.
It is in very nice condition with gilt edges to the pages.
