1920s vintage Friedman silverplate round bar tray w/ deep bowl shape, ornate border

1920s vintage Friedman silver plated tray, very heavy, beautiful baroque style.

The Friedman Silver company was bought out by Gorham Silver during the mid-20th century, as one of their leading competitors of quality silver plate made at that time. It does have an early Gorham feel and weight to it, and a very nice old hallmark.

This measures 10" across the well, about 13 1/2" across the rim. It's very tarnished, we haven't cleaned or polished it. There's no particular wear or scratching noticeable. An excellent tray for bar bottles, I think!
