1920s vintage silverplated flatware set for 12 in original box, Alvin Classic beaded edge silver

Beautiful 1920s vintage silver plated flatware set in the worn but original case (marked from a jeweler in Fond du Lac Wisconsin). Pattern is 'Classic' by Alvin, with squared handles and simple, elegant beaded edge design.

This is a set for twelve, pretty much complete - there's twenty-two teaspoons, and just six of the large table spoons. Twelve each of the round bowl soup spoons, salad forks and dinner forks, dinner knives. Also a ladle, a server, a sugar spoon, a small fork.

There's nearly no wear to the forks or the knives, though there's some scratching (mostly light scratching) to the spoons. The large table spoons have the most noticeable damage.

This looks as though it's seldom been out of this box during it's hundred years of age, and I have to say the anti-tarnish cloth here has been amazing. This set looks so nice!
