1930s antique lighting, ornate iron ceiling light fixture w/ pattern glass shade

Early electric ceiling light with beautiful heavy pressed glass shade over an ornate iron fixture, vintage 1930s. The cast metal still has bits of old whitewash, rather than modern paint... this came out of a very old, rarely updated farmhouse here in Wisconsin.

The wiring is ancient, and will need to be replaced, as it's very worn and frayed. The sockets are complete, and look OK. It's obvious that the center nut holding the glass shade in place is a replacement, not original to the light.

The glass shade measures 11 1/2" in diameter, and looks good, without damage. The metal fixture measures 8" in diameter where it meets the ceiling.
