1930s or 40s vintage jewelry, carved wood leaves cherries cherry bunch brooch pin

Cute, cute vintage carved wood pin, red painted wood cherries on a natural brown wood leaf (sort of Adirondack style). I was told this is early Miriam Haskell, but I didn't see any markings, and I'm not super knowledgeable about vintage jewelry. Stems are very worn, though the wood looks pretty good, some light scuffing and paint wear.
