1930s vintage kitchen canister, old glass candy jar w/ wire bail handle, zinc lid

Unusual flat sided canister jar, depression era. This would look nice in a vintage cupboard or hoosier, or in a general store type display for penny candy!

The design patent number on the bottom dates this piece to 1932. It fits a standard size canning jar lid, and it has an old zinc lid period to the piece on it now.

This stands about 6" tall x 3 1/2" wide, holds about one pint. The wire bail handle looks good without rust, and the jar is clean without chips or cracks.
