1940s Hollywood cake breaker, vintage kitchen utensil w/ yellow bakelite handle

Vintage cake breaker with the original box and directions - I've never seen one of these with paper or labeled box before.

This has some rust spotting to the chrome plating - it's not in the best of condition. My guess is that it was used once, and put back in its box without cleaning it properly. Paper insert has just a few spots, box has noticeable spotting.
