1940s vintage bedspread, star pattern waffle weave summer weight cotton coverlet

Unused 1940s vintage cotton bedspread with original store tag from JC Penney's. This one has a scalloped edge, and measures 104" long x 80" wide. There's a few spots from storage (please see photos), though it's never been used or laundered.
