1940s vintage miniature floral picture, convex bubble glass chalkware frame

Shabby chic style dime store wall art from the 1940s - this sweet little picture is dated 1943, and has the original price tag from Kresge's.

It's a cheaply painted chalkware plaster frame with a domed bubble glass over a small floral print. It's 6 1/2" overall, 4 1/4" in diameter across the glass.

It's been well cared for a lifetime (more than 70 years!) a touching reminder that it's sometimes the little things that matter.
