1950s vintage cotton applique quilt, sunbonnet crinoline lady, southern belle w/ parasol

Vintage cotton quilt with machine stitched applique, probably 1950s. It's very soft, a little worn and faded, perfectly cottage!

Size is about 68" x 63" overall. The edges look good without a lot of fraying, and we saw no holes.

It has some foxing and a few spots, and it's discolored in areas (yellow staining, most noticeable on the back of the quilt). You'll want to give this a good soaking, which we'd expect would improve this piece greatly!

We haven't washed or soaked this - it's just as found out of a large collection of quilts from an Illinois farm estate.
