40s 50s vintage pinwheel patchwork quilt, colorful prints, candy pink cotton border

Hand pieced patchwork quilt, tied in heavy cotton thread. This is a wonderful mix of prints and colors, edged all around in pink, backed in unbleached cotton flour sack and feed sack fabric. Very cottagecore, prairie girl style. This is right out of an old estate here in Wisconsin.

This measures 54" x 42", a child's size quilt, nicely sized to hang on the wall or otherwise display. There's a little spotting to the backing fabrics which was probably original to the sacks. Overall very nice, I don't believe this was ever used.
