40s 50s vintage plush tapestry fabric upholstery sample, Scots thistle

Beautiful old tapestry upholstery fabric, soft and thick with a short plush looped pile. This is cotton / rayon, we think? The pattern looks like a thistle flower to us, deep pink and green on oyster tan.

It's a large sample piece or remnant (larger that a usual sample book swatch), 26" wide cut width x 1 1/2 yards. It's clean and nice, unused fabric with the manufacturer's or supplier's paper tag still attached.
