50s vintage unmarked Wagner cast iron pan, 9 inch skillet N mark

Mid century vintage unmarked Wagner cast iron pan, marked 9 INCH SKILLET with an N on the bottom of the pan and the handle.

This pan came out of the estate of a lady married in 1953, I think it probable that this was made in 1952 or 1953. It has that lovely fine grained metal, silky smooth. There's nothing made as well as these old cast iron pans, even the best pans made today don't quite compare.

It's been used, but the pan is nice and flat (see photo with the ruler on the bottom). Probably needs cleaning and re-seasoning, but I'll leave that up to you.
