70s vintage kinetic sculpture, magnet pendulum perpetual motion skateboarder in mod chrome

1979 Otagiri - Japan kinetic sculpture, a chrome plastic skateboarding figure on a line, driven by a magnet in the plastic base.

This is so cool - it's not exactly perpetual motion, but the figure moves around by itself from the pendulum effect and the magnet.

It's clean and bright, and works fine. Measures about 10 3/4" tall overall.
